If enrolling two siblings, use discount code SIBLING30 to get 30% off the second child’s enrollment. If enrolling 3 children, use the discount code THREE60 for 30% off the second and 60% off the third.
Purchasing this means you are signing up for the 10am-11am class every Friday starting April 4th though May 30th (9 total classes) at Wheatland Park. Classes are subject to rescheduling due to weather or my personal illness. In this case, either a make-up time will be offered or you will be issued a refund for any fully cancelled classes.
This Spring, our curriculum will focus on empathy—the special human superpower that we use to understand our emotions and see the world through other people's eyes. Read more about how kids develop empathy here.
Unit 1: “Our Feelings” (lessons 1-3): Emotional empathy—understanding your own emotions.
Unit 2: “Our Friends” (lessons 4-6): Cognitive empathy—understanding how other people feel.
Unit 3: “Our Community” (lessons 7-9): Compassionate empathy—taking action to care for ourselves and others.
